May is such a busy month. Please make sure to mark your calendars with all of the exciting details.
Tomorrow, Friday, May 9 will be the kick-off for the Habersham Olympics. Students in 7th-12th grades will compete in qualifying rounds beginning tomorrow through next Friday, May 16. The final events will conclude on May 16 with all students participating. More details on the activities of the 16th to come soon.
7th-12th grade students: Friday, May 9
All 7th-12th grade students will have a house day tomorrow. These students ONLY may wear house t-shirt and navy, black, or khaki shorts. All shorts must be approved length; PE shorts are a great option for this event.
2nd Annual Spring Art Show: May 9, 6:00 pm- 8:30 pm, Gould Cottage
Join us as we tour the work of our own talented Habersham artists at our second annual judged event. Professor Langley and Mr. Seff are pleased to reveal some of the best pieces of the year. Custom framed work, beautiful Lute music, Japanese food, and community guest judges, will join us as we transform Gould Cottage into our own gallery. Come experience 6th-12th grade art in an environment that will justify their hard work. Awards will be presented between 7:30 pm & 8:00 pm. Spring Preview 2014: May 15, 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm, Bull Street Baptist Church
We encourage all new 2014-15 families and current families from all grades and from both campuses to mark the evening of May 15th – 7:00 pm at Bull Street Baptist Church. We will present exciting new programming opportunities for the upcoming academic year. New information and/or offerings in fine arts, science, athletics, uniforms, and more will be presented. This is also an excellent opportunity to register for any remaining openings in Habersham summer camps.
Registrations are due no later then May 15. Each camp has a minimum and maximum number of participants. If the camp does not reach the minimum number of students, the camp may not be offered.
