Partnership & Mission
Understanding children as image bearers of God is paramount to our academic mission. Teaching grants bountiful opportunities to cultivate wisdom and virtue in and out of the classroom. Faculty and staff do more than teach facts and formulas; they also model and mentor what it means to love God, love learning, and love others in community. Many faculty choose Habersham because it is the ideal environment for their own children. They understand it is a privilege to partner with parents to teach their children. This mission is weighty, just as our children are weighty.
Community grows naturally out of shared experience. Just as school life (seven hours a day, 180 days a year) represents a significant life influence for our students, so it does for our faculty and staff as well. In a vibrant, Gospel-centered, dignifying atmosphere, teachers and families all become community. Professional development, shared support, prayer, and fun times together are all vital to our professional community. This work is rewarding, as well as, a serious calling and commitment.
