Join us for Summer Run Club!

What is summer run club?
Is it cc prx??
No, it’s more about learning HOW to run and testing whether you enjoy running. This does not mean that you are committing to run on the team, but we would certainly love to have you join us.

What can people expect if they come?
For MS it will be 2x a week for about an hour. For HS, it is highly encouraged to make 4x a week, especially if you plan on running in the fall.
Workouts will consist of warmups, 25-40 min running, and core workout/stretches.

Who can come?
All students 5th grade through 8th grade are considered MS and will follow that schedule. 9th and above will run the HS schedule. Parents are welcome to join us this summer too!

6:00 pm either Gould or Daffin Park during the week; 8:30am Saturday at Skidaway State Park or another location.

Congratulations to Lucy Kelly for being named Girls Tennis Player of the Year! Also, Coach Cameron Hunt was a finalist for overall girls Coach of the Year and the Habersham girls tennis team placed third for overall team of the year! Way to GO PATS!!

Our athletes had a great time today as they were honored at the Georgia Power Sports Awards Luncheon! CJ Barry and Anna Thompson were presented with the Scholar Athlete Award earning $1000 towards their college tuition and the entire Habersham volleyball team was presented with the Generations Award. Go Pats! #PatriotPride

The varsity boy's golf team placed 4th in the GAPPS DII State Championship played at Bull Creek Golf Club in Columbus, GA yesterday. In the individual competition, Tyler Tift finished 6th in state shooting a 77 over 18 holes. Great job, Pats! 💪👊

Congratulations to Anna Thompson and CJ Barry who are both receiving the 2022 Georgia Power Sports Awards Scholar-Athlete Award. Each year Georgia Power hosts these awards and honors three male and three female student-athletes for their combined successes on the court and in the classroom. Athletic Directors from all area high schools were asked to have students from their schools fill out the application. CJ and Anna did so and were chosen to receive the award. They will each also receive a $1,000 scholarship. They will receive their awards at the banquet on May 18 at the Charles Morris Center.

In addition, the varsity volleyball team will also be honored at the same banquet. The team is being given the Generations Award presented by Georgia Power. This award goes to an individual or team that has reached the pinnacle of their sports such as a team who have won a state or national championship. This is the second year in a row Patriots volleyball will have received this honor. Go Pats! #PatriotPride #TheHabershamSchool

Haberham Boys golf team finished first in the GAPPS DII State Qualifier! The Patriots were led by Talyn Childress with a 3rd place individual finish. The Pats will play in the state tournament at Bull Creek in Columbus May 10th. Go Pats!

Habersham tennis swept the GAPPS DI Region 2 tennis championship today. Lucy Kelly and Henry Brooks won singles. Anna Thompson and Erin Lambert and Hamilton Colley and Ike Barry won doubles. Now, on to state - Go Pats!
