2023-24 Enrollment Details
Continuous Enrollment
Within your Family Portal account, you may see a prompt asking you to complete an enrollment packet for your current Habersham students. Thankfully, since we transitioned to continuous enrollment last year, there is no need to submit an electronic enrollment packet or any extra enrollment paperwork for returning students! Nothing will be required of you to keep your current Habersham students enrolled at Habersham. Instead, you will see a 2023-2024 tuition deposit of $400.00 charged to your FACTS account on March 1, 2023. This deposit amount will be applied to your 2023-2024 tuition balance.
Withdrawal
If for any reason your student is not returning for the 2023-2024 school year, please email Clay Hining at admissions@thehabershamschool.org asking for the withdrawal form. Withdrawal forms need to be submitted prior to March 1, 2023 to prevent being charged the 2023-2024 tuition deposit and being auto-enrolled and thereby contractually obligated for the next school year. New Student Applications
Now is the time to submit 2023-2024 applications for older/younger siblings of current Habersham students. Log in to your family portal (district code THB-GA) and click “Apply/Enroll” from the menu. Select “Application (New Student)” and you will be able to create a new student application. If you have any questions about submitting an application for your younger children, please contact our Director of Admissions, Clay Hining, at 912-509-0540 ext. 1.
FAQs
One of the great benefits of continuous enrollment is that there is no paperwork to be completed in order to stay enrolled for the next school year. Unless we receive a withdrawal form for you, on March 1, 2023, you will be automatically enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year. The terms of your contract are as follows.
• I understand that I am not responsible for next year’s tuition if I withdraw prior to March 1, 2023.
• I understand that withdrawing from March 1 through March 31 means I am responsible for 50% of the total tuition payment and I will be released from 50% of the total tuition payment.
• I understand that withdrawing from April 1 through May 31 means I am responsible for 70% of the total tuition payment and I am released from 30% of the total tuition payment.
• I understand that withdrawing from June 1 through July 31 means I am responsible for 90% of the total tuition payment and I am released from 10% of the total tuition payment.
• I understand that withdrawing after July 31 means I am responsible for 100% of the total tuition payment.
Yes, your payment plan will stay the same for next year. If you would like to change your payment plan, please email our Business Office at businessoffice@thehabershamschool.org to request a new payment plan. The school offers monthly, quarterly, or pay in full plans.
The Habersham School reserves the right to require any account to be brought current in order for a student to remain enrolled. The Habersham School also reserves the right to ask a family to withdraw from the school if, in the opinion of the school, the family is unable to support the policies and practices of the school.
Yes, the $400.00 deposit will be applied to your tuition balance for the 2023-2024 school year.
Yes, the automatic enrollment date was moved from February 15th to March 1, 2023. Unless you choose to withdraw your student, a $400.00 non-refundable 2023-2024 tuition deposit will be billed to your FACTS account on March 1st. This amount will be deducted from your total tuition payments. This is not an extra fee.
The Student Activity Fee will be billed to your FACTS account as a part of your tuition agreement and payment plan (Monthly, Quarterly, or Pay-In-Full). The fee remains the same regardless of your payment plan.
Applications can be submitted this year with your 2021 tax returns and your 2022 W-2s. If your Indexed Tuition includes Georgia GOAL, your 2022 tax return will be required later as part of the GOAL process.
Yes, first round indexed tuition applications are due by February 15, 2023. You can continue to submit aid applications after February 15th, but priority will be given to first round applications.
