Georgia GOAL Scholarship Fund
In 2008, the Georgia General Assembly passed House Bill 1133. This legislation allows Georgia taxpayers to direct income tax funds to particular approved private education institutions. Taxpayers may direct any amount up to $1000.00 for individual filers and $2500.00 for joint filers, S-corps, LLC’s, and Partnerships. C-corps may direct up to 75% of the state income taxes for the year. You may also be eligible to deduct this amount as a charitable item on the Federal Return. Simply download and fill out the Georgia Tax Credit Form and page 2 of the Georgia Form IT-QEE-TP1, and send them to the THS office along with a check made out to GOAL in the amount of your contribution. If you have any questions please feel free to contact John Childress at 912-704-6923 or email@example.com.
