“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.”
– Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Why Habersham?
At The Habersham School, we believe excellence in education begins when we share a common educational philosophy with families and cooperate both in goals and in methods. This is why we attempt to give prospective parents a full understanding of who we are, what we believe, and what we do. Our admissions process is designed to evaluate the whole child. We attempt to balance the needs of the student with the needs of the school and class to make sure we can serve the student well. We will consider each student’s academic potential, scholastic motivation, character, and extra-curricular interests. Read more about our Admissions Process.

Tuition Assistance and Scholarships
The Habersham School seeks to foster an environment that is reflective of the Christian community as a whole. Through the Tuition Assistance Program, we hope to enable qualified candidates to join our school community, regardless of their financial need, to open the doors of classical, Christian education to those who would not otherwise have the opportunity, and to build a student body that reflects a broad spectrum of socio-economic backgrounds. Whatever the level of need, The Habersham School works with families to provide tuition assistance through the following channels:
FACTS Grant & Aid
The Habersham School employs the services of FACTS Grant & Aid, a third party entity that assesses all tuition assistance applications and makes recommendations to the school accordingly. Click here for more information regarding the Tuition Assistance Process.
Arete Scholars Fund
The Arete Scholars Fund awards need-based scholarships to qualifying families. The Arete application is separate from the FACTS application, and a family may submit applications to both organizations.
Thomas C. Welch III Scholarship
In honor of the late Thomas Welch and with the generous spirit of his wife, Lucia Welch, the Thomas C. Welch III Scholarship is extended to current students at the Habersham School who embody character and academic achievement that promotes The Habersham School’s stated Mission and Vision. Eligible students from the 6th-8th grades are eligible for nomination.
